Blues Workshop

Did you know there are MANY styles of blues dancing? Maybe you're one of those people who enjoys slow dancing, a close connection, and blues music. You know there's more than just the simple step, step basic and swaying back and forth with your partner. The world of blues is very diverse and has many different styles to offer.

This workshop is not about blues fusion styles you may have seen, this is about the authentic blues of the early jazz and blues era. If you're looking to add more styles and more moves to your blues dancing, this workshop is for you! In this workshop, we will explore some of the history behind the dance, and some jukin' and ballroomin' styles you can take with you to use on the dance floor. Join Jayce from Lakeland, and local instructor April as they share their valuable expertise as blues dancers, instructors, and scene leader.
