A 3-hour East Coast Swing and Lindy Hop intensive, taught by April Choi and Bethany Byrnes, that is focused on accelerating all levels of dancers to improve their connection, expression, movement, musicality, and creativity.

This intensive will cover the three topics below:
Creating Connection: How to be someone people love to dance with, “What makes someone super fun to dance with?” We will work on safety, comfort, connection, follow focused feedback, and PTED: Posture, Tone, Energy & Direction.
Expression & Movement: Knowing what to do with your body when dancing. In this section, we will cover various solo movements you can put into your swing dancing, including rhythm, foot work, & free arm movement, and giving your partner space.
Musicality & Creativity: How to make every dance fun. Focus will be on jazz structure & phrasing, elements of partner dancing, and call & response.
