Roots: Honoring the History of Jazz and Swing

This event is dedicated to learning African dance, the roots of swing dance and black American dance styles. Having a better understanding of this dance will give you a better understanding of the jazz dance forms we all love. Come learn about how Lindy Hop and vernacular jazz started and bring the moves, the spirit and the culture of African dancing into your jazz and swing.
